About Julia Williams Interiors, LLC

As the founder and principal designer of

Julia Williams Interiors, LLC, I bring an integrated approach that unites artistry, technical precision, and genuine care. With a strong background in universal design, and both a certificate in Gerontology and as a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, I provide clients of all ages with both creative vision and practical expertise.

My process is collaborative and client focused. I partner closely with each individual or family to refine ideas into actionable plans, aligning aesthetics with real-world functionality. It’s a thoughtful, hands-on partnership that ensures every project is as unique as the people it serves.

Your home should evolve gracefully with your life. Through supportive, thoughtful design, I help my clients achieve balance between elegance, comfort, and functionality to bring timeless style and meaningful purpose to your home. My greatest reward comes from seeing my clients rediscover confidence and joy in the spaces they call home.

About Me

As a California native, my childhood memories are filled with family beach days and annual vacations in Yosemite.  In 2002 my husband and I relocated to Portland, Oregon where our family has been enjoying all the beauty that the Pacific Northwest provides.  My hobbies include reading, gardening, year-round hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

I received my undergraduate degree in Fine Art from UCLA in 1996, followed by an Interior Architectural Design degree from Santa Monica College in 2002. After starting my own business in 2003, I have specialized in residential, senior living, and aging-in-place projects. In 2024, I went back to school to earn both a Professional Certificate of Gerontology from Portland Community College, and to become a Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS) from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

I am also a Professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and a certificate holder of the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) exam (#021579).
